INFP…..
Used to get… ISFP.. INFJ..
………………………………..
Hello guys… !
It’s been a while
since I wrote in here..
You didn’t forget me
yet… aren’t you?
Did you…?
I really hope not.. hehe
I really hope not.. hehe
I have lots of things
to share but unable to…
Sometimes, there are
things that were supposed to be kept inside and not to be shared with anyone
and vice versa.
So, I’m a bit
reluctant to share things right now..
It’s not that I “truly
reluctant” but maybe I’m just a little more careful to share my thought on this
blog.
It is because, Internet
these days are scarier than books…
Everybody or
anybody can type or record or do whatsoever they want, to share their own
thought regardless of either thing that they’re sharing is true or not.
and now... there are lots of
things going on such as the MH370, Justice 529 and so on..
And.. I can’t really
talk about that because I don’t know the real story about it.
Sometimes I can’t
really tell either this news or that news is true because of soooo much
information circulating in the internet.
While for books.. I
bet the author must’ve done a thorough research before publishing their books..
right?
I’m not saying that
what I say is true.. this is just my own personal opinion.. do take note !
okay.. I’m just like you guys out there, which are free to share our own
thought.
Back to the topic.
For those who’s not
familiar with the personality types or personality test, you might be wondering
what is INFP..? what is ISFP or etc. etc.?
Actually… that is me
!! That is my personality type. I’m an INFP person.
Wondering what is
INFP? Well, the general explanations are as below:
“I” stands for “Introvert”.
Which means I or
persons in this group prefer solitary activities, think before speaking and get
exhausted by social interaction.
“N” stands for “Intuitive”.
Which mean person who
stands in this type of group is imaginative; rely on their intuition, absorbed in ideas,
and focus on what might happen.
Meanwhile, “F” stands for “Feeling”.
It means we (me & persons in the same group) are sensitive, follow our
hearts, focus on harmony and cooperation.
And the last one is “P” which stands for “Prospecting”.
Prospecting means very good at improvising, prefer keeping their options
open, relaxed about their work, seek freedom.
* but in most of the web that I went through, “P” is stands for “Perceiving/Perception”..
however, their general explanation are quite the same though.
INFP is one of the 16
types of personality based on Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or known as MBTI. INFP falls in the group Idealist or Healer (based on Keirsey). The group are divided as follows:
INFP is also one of the rarer types which population is only around 4 - 5%. INFPs present a calm, pleasant face to the world. They appear to be tranquil and peaceful to others,
with simple desires.
In fact, the INFP internally feels his or her life
intensely. In the relationship arena, this causes them to have a very deep
capacity for love and caring which is not frequently found with such intensity
in the other types.
INFPs do not share their intensity of feeling with anyone;
they tend to be reserved about expressing their inner-most feelings, and
reserve their deepest love and caring for a select few.
INFPs are generally
laid-back, supportive and nurturing in their close relationships. With
Introverted Feeling dominating their personality, they're very sensitive and
in-tune with people's feelings, and feel genuine concern and caring for others.
Slow to trust others and cautious in the beginning of a relationship, an INFP
will be fiercely loyal once they are committed.
With their strong inner core of
values, they are intense individuals who value depth and authenticity in their
relationships, and hold those who understand and accept the INFP's perspectives
in especially high regard.
INFPs are usually adaptable and congenial, unless
one of their ruling principles has been violated, in which case they stop
adapting and become staunch defenders of their values. They will be
uncharacteristically harsh and rigid in such a situation.
INFPs do not like
conflict, and go to great lengths to avoid it. INFPs do not like to deal with
hard facts and logic. The INFP will be happiest in careers which allow them to
live their daily lives in accordance with their values, and which work towards
the greater good of humanity.
Popular hobbies for
INFPs include poetry, creative writing, music, photography, theater, and visual
art. (I totally agree!)
Possible career for the INFPs are artist, writer, translator, musician, editor, counselors, social workers, teachers, psychologist, psychiatrists etc.
However, as reported in Times.com, the INFP is the lowest earner among all types of personality. I bet because we, the INFPs are not particularly
driven by money or status. We prefer work that aligns with our personal
values and allows us to help others.
INFPs are typically motivated by vision and inspiration, and want to engage with projects and causes that feel important to them.

In ipersonic personality website, my personality types is Dreamy Idealists but I didn't get to read the full report or their ebook about this particular types. It pains me for not having a paypal account and a credit card. It also take a lot of hardwork to go to the bank to pay for the ebook (yes.. I've to admit that I'm a lazy girl.. ;p)
Also, in one of the personality test that I took, which I don't know where (I forgot the website - I tend to open lots of website in the same time - tabs), I got INFJ and ISFP which differ with most of my result (I mostly got INFP though.. ;)..)
So, I'm quite curious either we can actually change our personality types or not. I didn't search much because it keeps on guiding me to the wrong direction.. I mean answers. I also didn't do much research about this question. I'm not so sure. I might get confuse while answering the test or maybe I'm not in the mood at that time that makes me get different types. I don't know.
So, here is the answers that is easy to understand...
"According to most
personality type theories, the individual’s type is inborn and does not change.
However, individuals can develop traits and habits that differ or even directly
contradict the description of their type".

I personally thought that INFP fits best with myself. I can related to almost all things that were stated in INFP types of personality. It's really nice to see myself explained. The explanation is so accurate and I do enjoy learning about myself. For my personal development.
